UNIMOG - 27ft KNUCKLE BOOM

Our 1989 Mercedes Unimog was imported by Freightliner and retrofitted for use in the US military. It is one of 164 produced with this configuration of a 27ft knuckle boom on the back and a forklift on the front.
It is an integral part of Acton Arboriculture's operations and is definitely an eye catcher with it's unique physique.

AIR SPADE SERVICES
An air spade is a tool that uses huge amounts of compressed air (150 cubic feet per minute or more-pumped into a 3/4 inch hose, from which it is delivered through an aperture the size of a pencil) in order to move soil, debris and rock while preserving and protecting the root system under investigation.
